Disconnections
• Teams are persuaded to save their games frequently during a match in order to compensate for disconnects
• Disconnect before a hero has been killed: match restart
• Disconnect after a hero has been killed: If a savegame has been made within the last 15 minutes, then consult the rule below. If not then the game continues without the disconnected player.
• If team 1 have killed 5+ heroes more than team 2 during the period of the last savegame and the disconnection, then the disconnect is in the favour of team 1. For example:
- At the time of the savegame the score is 35-35
- At the time of the disconnection the score is 42-37 for team 1
- Since team 1 have killed 5+ heroes more than team 2, team 1 may now chose wether to continue the match or remake from the savegame.
• A tower counts for 3 kills when calculating this, an Aegis counts for ½ a kill rounding down, a rax counts for 5 kills.
• The teams must save game right after first blood
• If neither team is in advantage then an admin should be consulted, unless teams can agree to a decision by themselves.
• After a remake all players have to pick the same heros as before, and must go to the same starting lane. On initial creep contact, the players may change lane
• If the same player disconnects more than 3 times, then the opposing team may chose to continue the match without him.
• It is allowed to use a disconnected hero, but it is not allowed to give his items to other players. The items may either stay on the disconnected hero, or be sold so the money is dispersed among the remaining players.
Before and after games
• Teams should if possible try and find a neutral host suitable for both teams. Make sure that you test the host for lag before the game commences.
• One team is Sentinel side and the other team gets to choose who has first pick. If the teams are not able chose who is what, you can ask an admin for a cointoss.
• If a host has been decided upon, the entire match will be finished with that host, unless both teams agree to change.
• If the teams cannot agree upon a host then the host will be decided by a coinflip conducted by an admin.
• If a team is not available at the scheduled time you have to atleast wait 20 minutes before requesting a default win. To request a default win you have to speak with an admin who will look into the case. Admins will rule on fairplay, by trying to help getting in touch with the opponent and rather letting a match start late than giving a forfeit win. However the fairplay ruling is not a privilege to any team, and is based solely the admins decision.
• Both teams are responsible to save a screenshot regarding the confirmation of match times. This will be used as evidence to claim a default win from an admin when the opponent shows no sign of appearing after the 20 minutes deadline.
• In the case of a missing player the opponent has to wait a minimum of 20 minutes to give the other team the chance to reach him. Afterwards they may chose to claim a forfeit win, or they can play the match 4on5 or 4on4. A team may never play a match with less than 4 players. Fairplay might overrule unfair decisions ( in case a far stronger team is being forced to forfeit instead of playing 4on5 by a far weaker team ).
• It is mandatory to save replays after each game by both teams! Failing in doing so will result in a warning and/or removal from the tournament.
• After a match has been finished, the winning team must report the result to an admin, and send all replays to:
MYMPD9@gmail.com• If the the game is loaded from a saved game then the replay can be found in the Warcraft 3 replay folder as "LastReplay.w3g".
• All appeals of rules violation must be supported with replay and/or screenshots indicating the offensive actions. Its the appealers responsibility to provide the evidences. All appeals without evidences will not be entertained.
• All players who signed up in this tournament are expected to read ,understand and respect these rules. Players who signed up also agrees that the admins' decision are final and cannot be disputed. Admins reserve the rights to modify the rules whenever the situation arises.
Discussions
If a problem arises, then the teamleaders, or one designated player representing the teamleader will solve the problem together with the administration of the tournament. This counts as well for Coin Flips.
Administration
The administration is there to plan, guarantee and maintain a fair run of the tournament. In case of a dispute, the administration will take the case with both teamleaders.
The tournament administration will always act in the interest of the tournament, fairplay, the players and the spectators. The goal is to prevent default losses and guarantee an exciting tournament for everybody. However the rulings will be strict depending on the intentions and behaviors of the teams involved in a dispute.
Before decisions are being made the administration will sit back and hold a discussion in private. The admins will not discuss decisions in public with players and spectators except through official announcements. Official announcements will always include the reasoning and the thoughts behind a decision.
